Can anyone sell me a clue as to why McAfee is updating soooo often. Lately: Twice a day.

the last update with nor/symantec was 1220.

if mcafee is updating 2x a day it makes it like they're doing something for you.
whether it's needed is questionable.

I have McAfee and it seems like they might update every 2 days or so, every once and a while I get 2 updates in a day. Keep an eye on the version and build numbers to make sure you're getting an actual update. If you get an update and none of those numbers change then something's not working right.
