My dell precision M4400 laptop keeps showing the "blue screen of death" shortly after boot up.
What I have tried:
-Rolled system back to the earliest starting point backed up
-In Safe Mode: Ran a pre-boot system assessment. Every test passed: video card, memory, CPU.
-Tried to update NVIDIA Quadro FX 770m video card: Device Management, check internet for updates (says latest version is in use)
-Replaced hard drive
Runs ok in Safe Mode, but quickly crashes after start-up in normal mode.
Any thoughts on how I can fix?
Specs:

You are probably using the wrong Nvidia driver.
There is no need to keep updating the video driver. You are running Windows 7. You don't need newer drivers that fix issues for Win 8.1 and 10.
Go to Dell's site, put in your model number and check for drivers for Windows 7. Download the newest one there. Replace your current driver with the one you got from Dell, not the one through Windows update.
