If this is posted in the wrong place I apologize. I had got this laptop a couple years ago from facebook marketplace asus zenbook 14" hd model ux431f. There was a bios password on it that at the time I knew but tried removing the password altogether. Could not at the time figure out how to remove it so I went to change the password and left the spots for new password and password confirmation blank thinking that would just let me press enter to get past on startup. The laptop starts up right to that password so I can not do anything but enter a password and leaving it blank just gives me incorrect password error. The laptop will not allow me to press Alt+R to enter a recovery password ( everything else I have found just tells me to press Alt+R to get into a recovery password screen to bypass this kind of issue) And also at the time I tried using the original password that was on it and that would as well give me an incorrect password error. Not sure if there is something it would default to if left blank in this way,
