Bigfoot not forwarding mail... Again!!

I see lots of similar comments
Bigfoot tend to say, it is your ISP blocking them wrongly as sending spam
The ISP generally says it is a misconfiguration at Bigfoot

Unfortunately your ISP has a very bad reputation for customer service & support and their anti-spam filters quite frankly stink. They either block completely genuine, good mail or let all the junk & crud through
I really don't have an answer for you except to say contact or try to contact your ISP & see what they say

Yep, here again! Big outage back in February, small one a week or so again and now again. Just notified them this morning using their webpage and using an e-mail they have used for tests in the past - just need to wait a day or so. Don't always hear anything, just all starts working - old mails come flooding in. Never known them blame anyone else, always down to them, but I know some ISPs can bounce these sort of forwarded e-mails, but that'll be a permanent issue I would think, not a sporadic one.

Had a big discussion on here back in February about Bigfoot with other users - came to the conclusion their e-mail offering is far from their prime business and as such it is probably poorly maintained and barely managed - left-over from their initial start-up business back in the 90s. Intended to move away but haven't got aorund to it yet. Doesn't have massive impact on me.

My Grandma had one of those I wanted it when she died but a cousin got there first - hence I haven't got a round tuit I could live on this excuse - never realised how useful it was before, thank you.

I have several others most are similar to this one.

Still no Bigfoot emails getting through. And nothing on their site to explain WHY...!

I am moving away too but it's taking me a while. In the meantime it has been working nicely for the last week. Now it's stopped again. They have jazzed up their web-page and look to be offering new services, but nothing is working.

So how do you get the mail? You mentioned forwarding so I wanted to make sure.

It is now 18th April -- and still NO emails being fowarded from Bigfoot.com

Anyone else still having this incredibly annoying problem...?

http://ef.bigfoot.net/ef/en/index.jsp looks like they have changed domains. It was all down a couple of days ago but now seems to be working ( the website anyway )

E-mails are forwarding again now, but it's been down for over a week. I have now disentangled myself from this service but it's taken a while, and for the last week I haven't even been able to log on to cancel my membership.

Upgrading and modernising systems is a good thing, but you need to warn people first, particularly if your service is going to vanish. They don't reply to emails or answer complaints. The only thing to do is leave. I just wish I had some way to leave suitable feedback.
