hi, I am running win2k, on a PC Clone PII300 system. At times when I ma trying to load / read a CD, I get kicked out of the OS and arrive at a nice blue screen containg the following:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
**** ADDRESS BF221BBC BASED AT BF22100, DATESTAMP 4185c8a6 -mrxsmb.sys

Beginning dump of physical memory

Any ideas how to resolve this issue?

could try installing the latest service pack for win2k:

The latest Service Pack is a good idea. Also do you have any CD burning software? Perhaps Roxio Easy CD Creator?

I have that problem. How many devices on that thing and whats the psu and power draw. I have deduced (though may be wrong) that my problem is power related. When i try to do to many stuff like cd burning when my tv tuner is in use the system shuts off. It may be that your psu can't handle everything. It could be driver related. But like the other dude said, ms never says junk about this, and its a hard problem to solve.
