I would like to know if I can use "VISTA" in windows ME........

My computer is ready for "XP" with the exception of CD Rw.

Windows Vista is an operating system. It would replace Windows ME. I believe one of the system requirements is a DVD drive because that's the media it comes on. A re-rewritable CD drive is not a requirement.
