Battery Problem

I have a HP laptop with Windows 8.1 pro OS. From last few weeks i am facing a problem. When battery is charged up to 90% it showing that plugged in not charging. And battery never fully charged. Why this problem is happening?
Please help me.

The battery may be going bad and will need to be replaced.
If there is a Battery shop near you, take the battery to them and them test it for you.
