I run a Micros POS system for a restaurant. I need to back up the whole drive including the system program. In case the computer crashed, I need to have some kind of bootable recovery disc in addition to the data I back up every week. Without that I would have to call the company to install the software and they charge thousands of dollars to do this. Can anyone please tell me how to do this? Thanks a million in advance.

Dave. Thanks for the reply. I am new to this forum and I posted a quick reply but it did not show anywhere so I am doing this again. If you see similar messages somewhere, that's why.
God forbid if this computer ever crashed, can I just copy everything from the backup disk made with Symantec Ghost into the new computer and the system should run like it always does?

You must remember that Ghost takes a full image and can only be safely restored to an Identical machine. Although you can get at any data from the backup.
