This has been happening for months, but I never tried doing anything about because it never really affected anything. What happens is that whenever AVG does the virus scan each night, it ALWAYS says I have a virus. The problem is, when I click Move to Virus Vault it says that it is unable to do so. Here's the thing though: It says the path of the virus is "C:\Documents and Settings\BRADY\Application Data\zo?f.exe" I have gone to that directory and such a file does not exisit, even when I have enabled that Windows shows hidden and system files. I have tried deleting that path through command prompt but it says file not found. I have tried looking up "zo?f.exe" online and haven't found anything useful. Any help would be apreciated, Thank You.

Go to http://majorgeeks.com/download3155.html and download 'Hijack This!'.

First make a folder on your computer in my documents called Hijackthis and then Unzip it to that folder.
Then doubleclick the Hijackthis.exe.

Click the "Scan" button, when the scan is finished the scan button will become "Save Log" click that and save the log.
Go to where you saved the log and click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" then Paste the log back here in a reply.
It will possibly show issues deserving our attention, but most of what it lists will be harmless or even required,
so do NOT fix anything yet.

Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.

 Wow! Is that your entire log? That's one lean, mean, log. :D

There's nothing going on with your log. Don't know what AVG may be finding. May be a false positive. I augment AVG with online AV scanning from sites like House Call:

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp

Somehow you downloaded an older version of HJT. The latest version is 1.99. You can post another log, but I doubt that it will reveal anything. As you've stated, this is more of an annoyance than any real threat.

:)
