Hi to everyone. Thanks for taking time to look at my thread. I have been thinking of trying Avast free home edition, any opinions good/bad will be appreciated. At present I have AVG free edition, but the hassels with downloading the updates(takes 6-10 times trying, and might not get it then) is causing me to take a look at diff options. I appreciate your taking time.

Regards

Avast has found some viruses that AVG missed. Not spyware, but real viruses. I always research a so called virus before I act on it. It does give some false alarms, but so does AVG, Norton, McAfee,etc........ I think it's a real good virus program. I'm very satisfied with it so far. I would recommend it to anyone. In fact I have & everyone I've turned on to it, LOVES IT!
