AV System Care Removal.

A colleague decided to install a program on my PC to allow him to listen to the radio on the PC. He just did a google search and downloaded any program he thought would do the job, but now my PC has been infected by AV System Care Virus.

I have McAffee installed on the PC.

I have already tried the following: Reboot to Safe Mode and use SmitFraudFix, and then reboot to normal and scan with SuperAntiSpyware which found 300 items and deleted them.

Still not solved so used Spyware Sweeper, and Windows Defender.

They all still found traces and Mcaffe keeps alerting to Trojans.

Whenever I log onto IE7 it is so slow and then I keep getting pop up for all manner of things.

Please can someone help, or should I just reformat, which is not something I want to do....

Also when I click on My Computer a big Red Cross is next to it!!!!
