i added a firewire card with no problem
but when i attach the panasonic ag dv1000 tape deck i am asked for the "AV/C Tuner" driver
please help me find this driver

Is this the procedure you went through:

You might also wish to 'bop over' to this AV forum for more detail on finding AV drivers, and using your AV deck.
