Hello.

I've been asked to do alittle db to keep records of meetings. Since text fields are limited to 255 characters, I remembered that maybe a doc file could be attached to the record of that specific meeting. Is that possible?

Why not use a memo field? The only problem is that you cannot search on a memo field.

I don't recommend trying to attach a file, but you could use a hyperlink field to link to a file.

Thank you. I'm really a newbie in this, so I thought only text type would be suitable for this case.

However I have another doubt. In this case, I have a table of participants on the meeting. There are five of them. How can I relate this to the meeting table, so that when I insert a record of a new meeting in a form, all the five appear on that form an I can use a check box so I can tell they attended that same meeting?

Sorry If it sounds too confusing... :)
