To good to be true huh Harry?
I figured as much but had to ask as I passed those links on to a friend that's just learning Photoshop...

As always thank you for your valued input.

Yes it is to good to be true or if it is true it will be so very hard to do what you have to do to get anything free from them.
Then it does not even tell you want all you have to do to get the free software.

Like all the free ipods ads and most they said never got anything because they make it so hard that maybe 3 to 5 % ever get anything.

But they got what they wanted and that is info on you and they tracked you all over etc.

Did you party to much for new years? :p

That's ok but just be good the rest of the year brindle.

You know I would trust the cheap software places more then these free sites.
Even then you have to hope your not getting hacked software.
But some can I think be trusted because you only get a OEM software CD only and no support. Then some you get only older version.
But again most places like that the big guys like MS, Adobe etc do not do these things so that should tell you that these sites are bad.

This may be a good site but don't really know.

It may not be like the iPod deals. I am guessing that software is cracked and illegal such as the ones on Ebay.
I guess if you want wild guesses you can ask on TSG.

Or you could just put your zip into their box and read the terms and conditions and help files. Or do a Google search and see what sites are carrying their offer. An Adaware run indicates they apparently don’t put any spyware on your computer during an inquiry.

From doing those things it appears the software is almost certainly legitimate and the offer is as well. It also appears it would be almost a full time job to accept and manage the offers without incurring more cost than just buying the software. And it also appears that it would be extremely difficult to fulfill their requirements within the specified time period. It also appears that they submit a W9 to the IRS and you pay income tax on the “free gift”.

I wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole. That doesn’t mean the software isn’t genuine or even that you might be able to qualify for it with a concerted effort. You will end up with credit cards and subscriptions you will have to cancel before incurring costs exceeding what you would pay for the software though.
