AOL Hangs while trying to print.

Operating System: Windows XP

Sometimes while in AOL and I decide to print something from say a Web Site I was in, AOL Freezes.

This happens after I hit the Print Icon and I’m in the Printer Menu.

At that time I receive the following error: “Crogram Files\AOL 9.1 \WAOL.exe Function Address 0x0 caused a protection fault. (Exception code 0xc0000005) Some or all property page (s) may not be displayed.”

and again as I mentioned earlier, the system won’t let me do anything until I close out AOL. I can’t even cancel the print request.

I can print fine any other place, i.e. Word, or Excel.

I have had this problem off and on for sometime, and for awhile there I didn’t have this problem,. All of a sudden, it started again.

I have spoken to AOL several times and they tell me to clear the Temp, and their Spool Folders. I do that and after awhile the problem comes back.

I religiously run system maintenance programs like Quick Clean, and I don’t understand why I still have this problem when printing.

Do you have any ideas?

Do I have some parameter set too low, or do I have some setting set wrong?
