ok me and my friend we always play bfme but for some reason i lag.. im runnin geforce 6800 ultra 1gb ddr ram and 2.4 p4 processor and most of the video settings are towards the low end but i still get lag...any suggestions?

I'm not sure what bfme is but it sounds like you might have a connection problem. What kind of connection do you have DSL, Cable, or dial-up?
also you might try running a spyware removal program like webroot or spybot. Also you might need to run a windows defrag. Or its your buddys connection!

With 1 G of ram, and a 2.4 cpu I'd have to say it's the game server, try testing you download speed. You could also get a MTU type program to adjust your packet size, but with that much ram I'd bet it's the server. but they will deny it.

yeah i know...take all the medieval total war games ..ruined by gamespy server setup
