The gaps in my teeth remark was my feeble attempt at a joke!

My dad was born in Hull and we visited often as children, so the Yorkshire sense of humour is well know and loved.

Now that you prompt my "aging" memory, I do remember the meaning of "long in the tooth".

Living among the Wiltshire Yokels must be having an effect on me!

Malta today is 22C - sunny but with a southerly wind blowing up from the Sahara, so everyone is covered in a fine yellow sand When there is a south wind colonel khadafi instructs thousands of Libyans to go down to the beeches and throw sand into the air, simply in order to annoy both the Sicilians and ourselves, silly person

Thanks for the invitation, I certainly will if ever I come your way, but I'm not much of a traveller as I have the dogs to consider - hate leaving them! I'm hoping to visit Frank and Carole in Canada when I retire in a few years time - starting saving now.
