Hi

DETAILS:
***************************

Windows 2000 Professional
Office 2000

***************************

I have a user who's help box's are blank. In other words if I open Excel 2000 and click Help (or open the office assistant) I get a grey blank screen. This happens for all Microsoft Office apllications.
See attached screendump.

I recall Active X error messages while browsing the internet at times. Does this have something to do with the problem?

Things I have tried:

Detect and repair
Reinstall of Office

Any suggestions or ideas welcome!

Hi, pileyrei. Sorry I didn't see this before.

You do know that help files are run by IE, even tho they're not really viewed in IE *proper*?

So, try reinstalling/repairing Internet Explorer.
