Have you downloaded any new software lately, specifically any zip programs like WinZip ?

All downloads download as a ZIP file please help
Ok recently all of my downloads have been downloading as zip files, whether its a mp3, pdf, eps etc. I am using windows 8.1 on my hp laptop. I have searched all over and I cannot find anything please I need help. Also this has nothing to do with associate a file type with a program that can open it, trust me I tried it.

Yes i download winrar and i think winzip. Would happen to know a solution please it would be some much appreciate, lost a whole days worth of work because of this.Have you downloaded any new software lately, specifically any zip programs like WinZip ?
Uninstall win rar and see it it fixes it.
If not uninstall win zip too

OK I delte everything that could open a zip file WinRAR, 7zip and winzip. Unfortunately it still did not work. Any other suggestions?Uninstall win rar and see it it fixes it.
