does the other person have a webcam? maybe the connections are slow for some reason. i know that using a webcam in aim isnt the greatest as ive had problems also. ive had better luck with yahoo messenger. hope this helps.

Yeah aim is not the greatest for video chat. If I remember correctly you need to open up ports 1024 to 5000 in your router. This would be under port forwarding settings. Some good routers already have an aim service specified that you can just enable. Good luck.

I'm omre interested in knowing what port exactly aim video runs on.
