Do you know if it was a Network logon box or a Windows Logon box that appears at startup?

If you click on the Start button, on your StartMenu you should see an entry for "Log Off...."

Is there a User Name next to "Log Off..." or does it just say "Log Off"?

If it is the screen I am thinking about, you should have your user name already in there. If you do not put in a password, it will not come up again.

Yep, you should be able to just enter any User Name you which to use, leave the Password box blank and click on OK.

Let us know what happens.

As long as your 100 percent it's a Windows Logon box and not a Network Logon box try this

Click on Start>Settings>CP>Passwords. Click on the "User Profiles" tab and be sure "All Users of This Computer Use the Same..." is selected. If not, select it and click on OK. Then click on OK again.

Now click on Start>Find>Files, key in *.pwl and press enter. Right click on any .pwl files found and rename them each to .old. For instance, bryan.pwl would be renamed to bryan.old

Do that to All of the .pwl files found and then restart Windows. When prompted, enter your Username, leave the Password blank and click on OK.

Let us know what happens.

BTW, if you do all of the above and it's still coming up, click on the Start button. Now on the StartMenu you should see "Log Off". Does it still just say "LogOff" or is "LogOff..." now followed by a UserName?
