Hi,
I'm planning on getting ADSL soon and I'm trying to work out what sort of ADSL modem would be ok. I want to use two computers with the modem but the phone jack is about 6 metres away from the computer.

Would a wireless ADSL router allow me to have two computers access the internet at the same time? Do I need anything special to have my computer work with a wireless unit like the one here http://www.billion.com.au/html/xdsl/7500g.htm? Would using something like this mean I don't have to have a cable running from the phone jack to my computer (like I do now lol)?

My computer has XP Home and the network card (if I looked up the right thing) is a Realtek TRL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC.

Any comments you can give would really help.

You would need wireless network cards in both pc as well to use the wireless unit.
