I live in a house with 6 other people, will all share an ADSL connection but I seem to be the only one with this problem.....Everyday at random times I get 'disconnected' from the net the local area connection status doesn't seem to change but web pages don't load nor can outlook express download email or MSN log in. I have to restart my computer everytime this happens (about 5 or 6 times a day). I think it could have something to do with the PC-cillin software I'm running, cause everytime I get an attempted firewall breach the little alarm symbol pops up and often the net will not work untill I restart but not always. Any Ideas how to stop this happening?
I'm running XP pro on a P4.
