Hi I get the following error when opening ADOBE documents from a particular person.

ADOBE
Cannot find or create the font "Arial Narrow". Some characters may not display or print correctly.

If I forward the mail to my other PC the Adobe document opens without any problem. I get dots and dashes instead of text.
I am using WinXP PRO with SPII
Adobe reader 7.0.8 ( had the same problem with earlier versions)
Open Office ( have seen the same problem on another PC running MS Office}

Hi I have carried out their instructions, when that did not work I un-installed all ADOBE products, downloaded and installed version 8.0 and the problem remains unchanged.

I don't have an answer to your problem but you might want to try the free Foxit Reader to see if it can do what you want;http://www.foxitsoftware.com/

Thanks, tried foxit, it worked, but found it very clumsy.
Searched for other readers and am now using BRAVA READER. It is quick and clear.
