Adding CD-rw to computer

I would like to add another cd/rw to my computer but all the connecters on the bus are inuse with a iomega 250 and a cd/rw; I have 2 hard drives and there are no more room to plug into my mother board. What can I do to add the new cd/rw without giving up anything?

Hello and welcome to TSG!

Do you have any PCI slots available on your motherboard. If you do then you can buy a PCI IDE Controller Card for about $40.00 which will hold up to two more IDE devices. Another option would be an external CDRW.

Just curious why do you want two CD-RW drives?

I want to be able to copy some cds without having to cache before copying, thus copying faster; also the new cd/rw writes faster than the original.
