I have another strange issue, my add/remove programs is not working it says "there are no programs installed on this computer" I Anybody have a clue on this one?

Ok start with this

Go to Start | Run

Type in cmd

At the prompt, type in REGSVR32 APPWIZ.CPL

Thanks for the advice, after registering appwiz.cpl I went to add/remove programs and I still got the same error message "no programs installed on this computer", after which dialog box popped up. It read "an unexpected error has occured. Class not registered.

I did an upgrade install on of win2k on my existing win2k computer. It seems that all any corrupted or deleted dll's were re-installed and my add\remove programs feature is fully functioning once again. Thanks to all you guy who offered assistance. :up:
