I have AdAware SE Personal, but for the last 2 weeks, I have not been able to update the definitions. When I open the program and click on the "SEARCH FOR UPDATES" button, it just hangs. Then when I do the CTRL-ALT-DEL, it says "PROGRAM NOT RESPONDING." Any suggestions?

My System: Dell Dimension XPSt running Windows 98se on an 800 MHz Pentium III processor and 256 MB RAM.

mine has been real slow updating for over 3 weeks. it takes about a min to connect to ad-aware servers..i just let it sit and it works ok.

Just tried mine, it was a little slow but did connect. Make sure your firewall is not blocking it.
