Today when I attempted to check for AdAware updates, the program just keeps hanging. Then when I hit CTRL-ALT-DEL, it says thet the program is not responding. Any reason it should be doing this?

What version are you using and when was the last time you updated?

It's AdAware SE Personal, Build 1.06r1. I updated about a week ago.

I had that happen before and I did manual updates for a while. Eventually it started working again. You should be able to update manually.

i just updated this morning ,took a min to get the update to start. they might be having a problem with the servers.

I don't have Adaware on my machine anymore, so I can't give you the exact filename, but you download the definitions file and replace the existing one. It go's in C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Adaware something like that(again I don't have it so I can't give you the exact location). Just rename the existing one, and stick the new one in there.
