I upgraded to a. reader 8, it will not run I just get a message " has encountered a problem and needs to close" I run windows xp media. Where should I start?

I have 960MB Ram. This program won't even BEGIN to open before I get the error message...some setting I can check out in windows?

grrrr I did the DEP as adviced , that didn't help either.

I loaded foxit reader. works like a charm so far. Thanks for saving my sanity
