So I guess B.O. is worried that he won't get enough people turning in their "fishy" neighbors and has decided to track them down himself  and it's not just "Right Winger" me :rolleyes:that's upset about this - it's the ACLU!!

Why the change in policy that's been in effect since 2000

“Americans rely on the information from the federal government to research politics, medical issues and legal requirements. The OMB (Office of Management and Budget) is now asking to retain the personal and identifiable information we leave behind,” said Christopher Calabrese, Counsel for the ACLU Technology and Liberty Project. “No American should have to sacrifice privacy or risk surveillance in order to access free government information. No policy change should be adopted without wide ranging debate including information on the restrictions and uses of cookies as well as impact on privacy.”

I like to spin it more that it shows how evil B.O. is that the ACLU is even questioning him :p

I applaud exposing his thuggery by any means necessary ;)

A conservative quoting the ACLU must really be getting desperate for material. :D

Turn off cookies in your browser Hannab and experience the internet without them for awhile. ;)

I don't think I'm the one that's getting desperate  just informing the liberals that have their heads in the sand :)

Besides I'm not worried about my cookies (unless you're trying to steal one from me) as I've signed enough petitions to already be on their radar

that and my NRA membership :p

That can't be done with flash cookies.
With Firefox there is an addon that can do it...BetterPrivacy
and at Adobe's LINK
You can adjust your flash player to not accept them.

I'm guessing, like anything else, if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear - same as when the idiot Bush was prez.;)

i know....that's the only reason i posted....the country's gotten it's panties so much in a bunch over the last 10-15 years, it can't even see straight any more

i'm thinking we should all just shut off our tv's and stop reading the news for about six months......see if it's really as close to socialism -on the left- or facism -on the right- as everybody seems to need it to be.

might actually help.

so'd the left, with bush.....but that was "bad", as i remember

I complained then, too :D
I did too, but that was just because it was Bush, not that I was worried or cared.:p I knew he would abuse his powers.:)
