Hello All

I Have problem installing windows xp professional in Acer Aspire T310 machine, i boot the pc from CD rom and i get the windows XP loading screen, then when it finish it goes to 3 options:

1)If u want to install windows press enter.

2)If u want to repare press R

3)if u want to cancel press F3

So till now all goes OK.

Untill i press "enter" or "R" then another screen goes to tell me:

Setup did not find any harddisk drives installed on your computer, press F3 to exit.

All the connection in my computer is functioning and also the hard disk, but i dont know why this happen.

Were you running any OS other than Windows before this attempt?

I am using windows XP professional which is origanly installed from acer company when i brought the pc, this version works fine and i still can access the windows normally,
but i want to format and install another fresh copy of windows xp.

also when i try to access bios it has password and i did not set any password on it.

i hope this is efficent to make u solve my problem
