So, I have an Acer Aspire 5750(Not a z or g, just 5750) and it runs Windows 7. About this time last year my webcam stopped working suddenly. Nothing to my knowledge happened to make it stop, I just came home one day and it wouldn't work.

I'm having a hard time finding a driver to install for it, since the Acer website doesn't seem to have one, I uninstalled the driver using device manager and restarted my computer for it to reinstall and that didn't fix the problem. I also used eRecovery and that didn't seem to work either.

I've tried reinstalled the Acer Crystal Eye Webcam program, and when I open it gives me this message:
"Warning
Acer Crystal Eye Webcam cannot connect to your webcam (1.3M HD WebCam). Try selecting another capture device within settings, or close any applications that may be using this webcam and then restart Acer Crystal Eye Webcam."

Another odd problem is that even the USB webcam's will not work with it, so I'm not entirely sure that the driver is the problem. I've done my fair share of research on this problem and cannot come up with a solution. It says the same warning message when I try to connect the Microsoft LifeCam VX-6000 that I have to the Acer Crystal Eye Webcam program. I think it recognizes them, but just won't connect to them for some reason.

I assure you, it is not the program, because I have tried Skype, Cameroid, the LifeCam program that the USB webcam came with, and much more.
