A Simple Question <perhaps>

I am running WinXP Home. Is there a way to default the "View" for the folders to what I want, and keep it that way?

For example: I want the View to remain at "Tiles" for my docs folder and "Thumbnails" for my pics folder. When I set it up that way, it will stay for a while, but for whatever reason at some point, usually within a reboot or two, it reverts back to the "Icons" view. Especially for the folders within the main folder.

I thought that Windows remembers the last configuration and keeps it as such.

Thanks.

Fixed I think.

Tools > Folder Options > View > Remember Each Folders Settings.

I disabled it, then enabled it again and it seems to be holding.
In a folder.. go to Tools > Folder Options > View > Like Current Folder

Be sure the folder you are on is the one you wish to make every other folder the same...
