A problem with printing in Opera...

I got a printer along with my new computer in 2004, but I didn't think about using it to actually print stuff that I wanted out (besides school stuff and word documents).
Anyway, the problem I'm having is with what seems to be an inability for Opera to select images. You know how you want a certain piece of a document, and you try to select and print that selection? My problem is that I want images along with text, and Opera won't select them, thus my printer won't print them.
