2 monitors 1 hdmi port

I just got a new XP pen artist pro 16 and i cant use it at the same time as my monitor cause I only have 1 hdmi port.
The vga and dvi ports dont work/arent connected to anything. Theres a mini hdmi port I havent tried, but I already spent 20 bucks trying to work around this so I dont want to buy yet another cable until I know I can actually use it.

I dont want to just duplicate my screen, I dont need a splitter

I was told I could possibly daisy chain something together but i'm unclear on what I'd need.

additionally, If anyone knows a way to test if a port works without plugging something into it that'd be equally helpful

This desktop I have is so weird. i bought it off facebook marketplace for $130 when my laptop stopped working just so I'd have a computer. The heat sink is ginormous and theres a fan attached with a ziptie somewhere in there.
