I have two Win 10 PCs I'm updating, and the updater stops at 1803, thinking it's the most recent. I've stopped and started all updater services, ran update troubleshooter, and manually hunted for the 1809 download 64-bit. Auto updater continually tries to get me to install 1903, which I do NOT want.
When I've attempted to download the 1809 64-bit to USB and install that way, I get the message the that the "Update is not applicable". It may be looking for prior updates that aren't already there. Does anyone have a link to 1809 64-bit that is the basic version, readily usable? This is driving me crazy.
You can try downloading the Windows 10 Update Assistant by clicking here. If you are in the windows 10 pc then it should show you the option to download the update assistant. The app will guide your way to updating. (Microsoft is still in 1809 in the update assistant)
