15 characters Samsung device password list

What are some Samsung smartphone models that support 15 characters password? My device of one year just stopped recognizing my lengthy password. I performed a factory hard reset. Fortunately, I was given option to enter password, but I still was unsuccessful. After, a few days of making a new password for screen lock, then my device began to not recognize my password.

I even spoke with two agent with Samsung. I know I was entering correct password. Will someone care to elaborate?

Please elaborate what you were told by them.
15 character passwords are supported and you’re obliged to mix up letters, numbers and special characters.

Also, what model Galaxy are you using? I can't search for a manual until I know the model.

Now my cheap Galaxy, A12, doesn't have all the features of the S models. I haven't tested a 15 character password.

Samsung A12 is the model I was using. I was directed to visit www.smartthingsfind.samsung.com. This would be an attempt to remotely unlock my Samsung device. The agent also asked for the IMEI number on back of phone. Guys, those numbers are tiny and require 20/20 vision to see or a magnifying glass. With great frustration and passive aggression from agent, the solution didn't work. The Samsung agent had to connect me with another agent within separate department. I was asked to hold power key and volume down key for at least 30 seconds. Once the phone powered back, I had to immediately press volume up key, while still holding power key down. After, a few tries I didn't successfully reach the menu on console in order to select phone reset. This process is known as a factory hard reset. I was directed to take ticket number into local AT&T store to finish process. I did the hard reset on my own. I was then able to use Google account originally on device to unlock lost/deleted self study notes and poetry. I was very upset. I have so many questions concerning Samsung's remote unlock revolving around security.

Who exactly directed you to that site?

I'm not convinced that the site you went to is an authorized Samsung site.
If you got the phone from AT&T, I'd go there. Or have you tried chat? Support Home | Official Samsung Support US |
My A12 was purchased through Consumer Cellular; it does use the AT&T network. For me, I call Consumer Cellular when I have problems.

Okay, perhaps it is Samsung after looking here

I found unlock if you've forgotten the password but this is in very tiny print.
You have to set up your Samsung account on the device. From Android 9 and later OS versions, to unlock your device, you have to turn on 'Remote unlock' in the device setting menu in advance.

I have NEVER set up a Samsung account on my A12.. I also don't have remote unlock turned on and I don't intend to use that feature.

There are 4 different help pages for A12 devices. None of these are for me but perhaps one of them will help you.

I'm not trying to convince you of anything. If you forget your password on your Samsung device, and you already have a Samsung account if the user remembers the password to the account[Samsung acct], then yes you can sign into Samsung account at above mentioned website through a browser on another device and unlock the Samsung device remotely.
1-855-795-0509, was the number I called. I will do a more in depth investigation on the call. I was no longer a customer with AT&T, so I ended up with a device I could still use to control important business of which I used apps which recognized the device. I don't blame you for not using the feature. Have you ever used any find my phone/device type app? This was my first time. I don't plan on using any of that mess ever again, I rather use a security key or handle my business the passe way.
I disagree with that decision...in lieu of what I experienced I did the poll to see how many people take advantage of using a security key. The poll was definitely relevant.
