Cannot boot up my computer due to no bootable device found, I changed the hard drive with a new one and in the Bios menu it reads the new hardrive, but when I save settings and try to boot it up, it doesn't read and says "No bootable device found"

My dell Optiplex 980 got knocked over then other day and now it says that there is no boot device available. I know it’s a Windows 7, but I don’t know if it is 64 or 32.

I have toshiba c655d and since yesterday when i hit power button it takes me to screen that says check cable connection no bootable device instert boot .... ive tried everything on the internet youtube , google u name it plz help

So today my computer was turned on and said the above and not do anything but sometimes it would get on to chrome and shortly there after freeze.
